  • @kingnick104 Someone I knew who was in the Marines said the Drummers had to go through the Commando course. But not the other band members. But he was in some time ago etc..Falklands War. He called the band members bandies or something.

  • @WhitakerSJA the royal marine band members are not required to go through the green beret course most do but it is not a requirment

  • The RM band -the cream of the cream

  • Not just marines.

The best band in the world UP the Royals

  • @md0u9186 Wonder why they show Trooping the Colour then.

  • @LordWellington15 um all Royal Marines including men of the Royal Marines Band Service are Royal Marines Commandos. they all go through the tests to get their Green Beret and the same commando course.....then the Bandsmen go to their phase 2 training and the Rest of the Marines continue with Training.

  • @hkcarruthers Marines yes, Commandos....no

  • Wow! A massed Royal Marines band playing my four alltime favorite marches. This is one for my favorites. ;-))

  • They aren't soldiers, they're Marines.
