Never do more than a 30% water change, your tank loses all its cycled bacteria which takes weeks to develop in the first place.

u doing your shit wrong fool. your one fish must b dead hahahahahahah.............
-
your never spposed to do 10-30% siphoning if you do more than 50% u can stress the fish and kill of the beneficial bacteria

thing that bothered me is on a tropical tank you have a heater
according to the instructions on the box of a heater you have to have it switched off 15 to 20 mins before removing from the tank.
i would not be removing it but the water level would go down and the level would be past the heater
so... 20 mins heater off time + 1 hour clean tank time + at least 1h30 mins heating back up to optimum temp = 2h 50 mins
is the fish going to be ok in all this time?

That is a good question. While re-fillng my tank I am constantly monitoring the temp of the water going in the tank. Once I am back to full I am usually around 85 degrees. I have never had an issue yet. Thanks for watching!

wow...........you neglect a tank and proceed to demonstrate your complete and utter lack of knowledge about tank maintenance/cleaning. Dumbass posting a fish care video on youtube...... sigh....... little bit of intelligent research on Google would have been nice bud.

Thanks for taking time out of your day to insult me and my method of cleaning. I feel very sorry for you.... Also, I dont think I know you personally so how the fuck do you know if I neglect my tank or not???? Anyway, I do a deep cleaning of my fish tank twice a year and this video is an example of how I do it. On a regular basis I actually only change about 33%... FYI I have never had any issues with fish or my tank. Thanks for the comment and research how to get a life on Google bud!
