The second producer note for DCS: A-10C Warthog. This note focuses on the start up procedure of the A-10C attack jet.

Notes:

Please note that this note is based on Alpha code and far from complete. We feel it better to release such videos now based on pre-release code than wait until the game is about done.

Video was recorded at 30 FPS at 1280x720 using internal AVI tool. No post-processing was used. Sorry, mouse cursor could not be recorded.

High Dynamic Range (HDR) can be enabled/disabled by users.

While the start up procedure is works for me, I'm sure users will find a flow that works better for them.

This note takes place at a work-in-progress version of the new Nevada (Nellis AFB) terrain. We wanted to give you a little preview of this new terrain even though it is incomplete. No noise map yet and some issues with close range shadows.

  • Hi guys, this is the first time im asking the Youtube community for help, so here goes: I recently bought this game from there website and downloaded onto an external drive since it was such a huge download, and since the moment i began playing it, it lags. Alot. The framerates are horrible and i dont want to have wasted 40$ on a game hat doesnt work. I am using a HP ProBook with windows 7 and a Intel COREi3. Please help if you have any idea whats happening. Response would be greatly appreciated

  • @Silverhawk170485 I know! I always seem to get in a good rhythm with some good AD/CD or Disturbed, Papa Roach, etc. on :D

  • @paradox459 I had the same problem. Try launching the .exe file (DCS.exe) directly. If it still doesn't start, it might be because you don't have the DirectX 9.0C libraries installed. You can download these from Microsoft.

  • @paradox459 try when you run the pc, press f8 before windows loads, and start with provisory mode. Or search by start for services, and disable all non system stuff, then try

  • I'm having trouble launching this game. I bought it off steam and I was just wondering if I met the system requirements. I have an AMD Athlon(tm) II P360 Dual-Core Processor 2.30 GHz. 4.00GB of RAM and a 64 bit operating system. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • when do we finally have a matrix-like game system? It would be so great with this game :)

  • How come the master warning donst screm at you?

  • @oherregud

    its called a track IR

  • Nice video! Which button you use to move around so smoothly in the cockpit? Thanks!

  • @indirulz1234 dude, there is more than one reason to have a lot of buttons at our disposal on the cockpits. First reason i could point is to force the pilot to know the systems and how they operate, that being said it may be controversial but it simplifies things on the plane, that´s because the systems can be independent the pilot itself connect them and disconnect them, so when we have a failure we know where it is and possibly we can figure the best move to solve it or to go around.
