There's some debate over which version of this great speech is better, Laurence Olivier's or Kenneth Branagh's, but it's difficult to compare the two when Olivier's version lacks the stirring music of Branagh's.

The historical accuracy of the armor and weapons far outdoes the Branagh version. Although I prefer the other speech.

@lomax343 fuck yeah!!! THOR!!! i was expecting it to be cheesy and lame. but it was actually pretty funny and had a good story with it. directed by Kenneth Branagh.

I'm for Branagh. I'm not belittling Olivier - he may even have been a greater actor that Branagh; but his film comes across as dated these days. Branagh was a better director and had a better supporting cast - and produced the better film.
