This was like a new high every week... bands like this where sprouting up all over. A time to be at peace and carefree. Love was in the air and so was the smell of good pure clean weed. $10.00 for a lid and 4 fingers high. A Pound $135.00 LOL...... Called a brick , compressed and yummy. When u opened it , it grew BIG and Buds galore.

I saw them at the Avalon also, but in s1966 -- went to Nam in May of '67! A lot of great groups could be seen at the Avalon, but time presses on ...

I'm 14 and I know of this, and love it.

I just wish I lived in the 60's. It seemed so experimental and explorative. The world seemed so new and secretive then.
