Marin Mazzie sings Scott Burkell and Paul Loesel's "A Sorta Love Song" from their musical revue, SORTA LOVE SONGS at Birdland in NYC on Sept. 21, 2009. This song is also from their book musical, THE EXTRAORDINARY ORDINARY. Allison Seidner is on cello, and Paul Loesel is on piano.

She's such a fabulous performer! This is one of my favourite songs she sings! Gorgeous vibrato, phenomenal timbre, clear and pure voice! I love these lyrics, which are different than the recording on their cd "Oppposite You"! Thank you for posting a video of one of Broadway's brightest stars!!!

Scott, (the lyricist) and I (the composer) both love R&H and Carousel, but it is just a similar sentiment, both lyrically and musically, as "Mr. Snow", as you said. We're glad you enjoy the song!

I'm in LOVE with this. I was there that night and everyone were fantastic. Marin Mazzie is such an amazing performer. Oh and I love watching Jason watch Marin. I'm seriously melting, just watching him. haha. Anwyays, I can't wait for the CD!! :)
