Demo of the 1985 Westone Dimension IV guitar through a Boss ME-30 MEP on a Marshall 5210 50W amp. I've had this guitar and amp since I was a teenager, and I thought I'd dust them off for a fun little demo. While experimenting with the tones this guitar is capable of producing, I gained a new appreciation for it.

its mad to play speed metal no contry no blues .. just metal all sow venom had that in there concert . back in 1985

Very cool guitar, the Westone were great axes, Check out thé Thunder I-A, some nice features too, with active pickups.

@1999Syborg Unfortunately - As I understand it - the Bendamster Trem was designed by an (ex) Floyd Rose Engineer Specifically for Westone to escape paying Floyd his Patent fee, as such the design is different but more importantly the intonation placement of the saddles are in completely different places.
These two designs of trems are not Interchangeable as the saddles on a Floyd cannot be moved far enough forward to make scale on any Westone guitar.

hi, i have a guitar given to me by my fathers cousin its called a Westone Dynasty. I was wondering if you had any info on it?

@sadbutsandman91 My friend bought a Dynasty the same time I bought my Dimension. We had a garage band together in the 80's with our matching Westones. There's a Westone info site you can find on google with some info about the Dynasty.

@1999Syborg Youtube doesn't let you include URLs in posts? I tried a dozen times to post that reply with the website link in it, but only when I removed it would the reply succeed. It didn't say "no URLs allowed", it just said "Error, try again." What's with that?

hi theres a body the same as this im wanting to buy...like to know if the holes for the trem would line up to fit a floydrose trem....thanks

@cuzvance It seems like the mounting screws for the bridge are the same spacing as a floyd rose, but the floyd rose has a much larger cutout to accommodate the tuning screws on the bottom. Also, the locking nut is entirely different than a floyd rose.
