a very small portion of the song is about losing her virginity. most of the song is a methaphor, for example "white houses". white means pure. she's experiencing new things that changed her life and rid her of innocence (virginity being one of them).
so please, STOP overreacting.

@Aisakah Exactly!!! It's one of my favorite songs. It has so much meaning and it's heartbreaking at the same time. Sooo many girls can relate.
What's stupid is people have the lyrics right in their faces and they still can't get the meaning of the song.

If anyone thinks this is a meaningless sex song, you're clearly stupid. This is about Vanessa losing her virginity to a guy she thought was "the one". Many girls have gone through that, so this relates to how a lot of them feel and how stupid they felt when they did it. I can't believe there are still >some< comments that think this song is shitty when it has so much feeling and meaning. It's so annoying, because I absolutely adore this song and so do many others. I thought this song was about a girl who moved in with some new friends, and she fell in love with a guy there, but all the other girls who lived there fell in love with him too, like when she says "we were all in love, and we all got hurt" and she realizes in the end that they were never really her friends in the first place, and she was with the wrong guy, and she says "I hold on to your secrets in white houses" because the house they all lived in was white.....Am I right?
