The pros choose pedals with true bypass because it's the only way you're going to keep your tone exactly the way you want it between your guitar and amp. The Hardwire DL-8 also features high-voltage operation for improved headroom over "conventional" pedals, plus 11 delay types and up to 20 seconds of loop time.

Newbie here, Can you plug this into a distortion pedal, then into the amp and guitar and play away? Or do you need some crazy things like an amp header etc?
