Here's me testing out my recently completed custom-build drum kit. This was take two of three. I'll be playing this kit live for the first time w/ my alt. rock cover band Slightly Used at our upcoming mid-July gig.

The drums consist of Poplar shells wrapped in a custom Green Glass Glitter finish. Sizes are 8 X 8 and 12 X 6 rack toms, 14 X 12 floor tom, and a 22 X 18 bass drum. Snare is a 13 X 7 ddrum Dominion series 8-ply maple shell in Red Ashburst finish w/ die-cast rims. Cymbals are a mix of Meinl MCS and Classics series. There's also a Meinl Generation X series filter china and a Wuhan splash. Hardware is mainly Tama RoadPro series stuff. Heads are Evans G2 coated on the batters and Evans G1 clears on the bottoms (resonant). Bass drum has a Remo Pinstripe on the batter w/ some strips of 1/2 weather stripping for muffling. The front head is a Remo Ebony Ambassador w/ a 5" port and a few strips of 3/8" weather stripping for muffling. There's no pillows, blankets, towels, etc in the shell itself...just a thin layer of flat foam on the shell bottom.
