Food storage: It's important that you don't forget to include meat in your food storage plans. The proper proportions of meat will give you the protein needed to carry out your daily routine. Freeze your meat, but rotate it out and eat it in stews, chili, or just steaks. Meat in your food storage works well for emergencies, too. Gotta keep your energy up in hard times!

@gelflingfaysuzanne Know what? You're right. Totally right. I was out of line, I think that night maybe I'd had a few too many.... The man is doing just fine, and my being anything other than supportive of his continuing our tradition of hunting and processing our own game is counter-productive. Outdoorsurvivalguy, I apologize. I was out of line. Many apologies, sir. gelflingfaysuzanne- thanks for setting me straight. There's enough assholes on here without my being one of them, too.

@homeostasis4me sorry but that doesn't mean a thing. perhaps he just likes using his bowie knife. Everyone has there own methods of doing things. He seems like he is enjoying taking his time. He isn't rushed right now. He seemed calm and confident with what he is doing. And for all you know perhaps he usually does use a different knife. It might have been lost. The man does not have to excuse him self for anything. He is doing just fine. :)
