Probably gonna cause a little bit of controversy here, but i think that Eddie Vedder is a much better frontman than Kurt Cobain

@vlatkacobain I'm not comparing the two bands I'm comparing the frontmen, and I'm not saying Kurt Cobain was shit, I'm just saying Vedder was better, in my opinion. But they are both awesome bands. And as I said in the comment, I expected to cause a bit of controversy, meaning I know not everyone will agree with me

@Orieus I know they are very different, but it's hard to avoid comparison, as Pearl Jam and Nirvana were like the two main grunge bands of the early nineties, and they were pretty strong rivals at the time, so it's pretty inevitable really. But the reason I commented is I've heard some people claim that Cobain is the greatest frontman of all time, but I think that Eddie is much better. But that's just my opinion...

@kevenbelangerharbour wut? really? god! did you really thought well before posting this comment? well if you dont know ill tell you... every musicians magazines, books, biographies etc. will tell you that pearl jam... there's probably a few that wont agree with but the majority will... for instance some people aborted child goes to hell because they didnt believe in god but some believe that they go to heaven cuz god, for them, is god of the defenceless

@adambailey2323 Yes, valid point, and I have considered that. But there are people like Jimi Hendrix who carry a guitar and still manage to be an awesome frontman. And about the songwriting, I personally would rate Eddie as a better songwriter than Kurt.

@broomeydbr9 well id just like to point out its easier to be a better frontman when youre not playing guitar, besides i think kurt was known more for his songwriting skills
