@MegaTomco rubbish her performance is on an out of tune piano and is too lightweight form me compared to boris, she is great but in this B is better

He's a tasteful pianist.

@MegaTomco i doubt that has anything to do with russian school of piano. lugansky plays a spectacular rach 1 sonata, but I doubt you'd know anything about that unless you hear it live. secondly, valentina never studied in an actual Russian school of piano, so how can you make that outrageous claim? how do you know she hates a school she doesn't even know herself? just because you like her performance and she has a specific background, doesn't make your "understanding" any true.

I thing she sees herself as an American pianist just because of she hate russian's schools of piano but her blood is still Ukrainian,( I can say Russian, It is simillar :D ) and I now understand why she hate russian schools, look on her performance and after it on the Boris's performance... sorry but B. is "watery" against Valentina. :)

am i hearing traces of the 3rd piano concerto in this movement?

@xo4u1dessert I call serious bullshit on being from Russia as a prerequisite for faithful interpretation of Rachmaninoff composition.

russian poeple must be proud of Kissin, Lisitsa and Berezovsky, they're all amazing pianists
