Riding some of my favorite elevators in the office building that's a 10min walk from my school. These were modernized very recently; when I first came here they still had
signs around stating that there was a modernization going on. Schindler has done a beautiful job here, using TXPress fixtures to redo the fixtures and a Miconic HX controller.
Not terribly fast but you never wait long for a car here. Interestingly, when the lift is leveling the floor counter does not change until the doors open, kind of the reverse
of typical Schindler behavior.
These originally had Westinghouse AE/EPCO Circleline buttons in the cab. The hall callbuttons on the upper floors are in fact original.
Brand: Westinghouse
Installed: 1983
Modernized: Schindler, 2009
Machine: Geared Traction
Floors Served: [G], *L, [8], 9 - 17
Fixtures: TXPress, with custom GAL buttons on upper levels
Ride Quality: Good. Sometimes bouncy.
This is funny. You can find a Floor 8 at 3:00.

That's technically mid-rise.

I used low- and high-rise to help label the lifts in this place a little better.
Oh james, you and your useless comments...
