Tomatoes are perfectly fine to eat, just make sure you rinse them well. I'd recommend vinegar if you want to be thorough.
Just be careful not to give your rats too much. Tomatoes are a natural laxative and too many will make your rats' poo gross.

awe they r so cute!! so im thinking of getting a couple rats in about a month or so but dont know alot about them wich is why im waiting on buying them b/c i want to find out more info :) like what they can/can't eat, what kinds there r, what kinda cage i should get, how ong do they live, things like that!
