It's the beginning of October, and I have my final fall planting complete in the backyard vegetable garden. It included kale, lettuces and dandelion.

The weather is getting colder. I'd like to prolong this as far into the cold season as I can.

  • No better time than right now.

  • I didn't plant any FALL crops. I planted lots of things this summer. Tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, lot of basil, oregano, lettuces, chard, greens, watermelon. I've been inspired recently to plant garlic since now is supposed to be the time for it.

  • Thanks. Why did you plant anything this year?

  • Pimp-ass containers! lol awesome. :) I didn't plant anything this fall. Next year I will.

  • Thanks. You talkin about me or the veggies? :-)

  • Looking good.
