  • Thank you so much for all this. Their comments are very philosophical which I find very European. In my highschool days, for those got bored of King Crimson, Soft Machine, started to bring in and boast something they'd never heard. Some brought me Banco, others got me PFM and I got Locanda from my older friend who was an editor of a minor Euro rock magazine. Just the first note of A Volte Un Instante Di Quiete literary knocked me out, as you can see lots of Japanese web pages about this album.

  • wow, I didn't think italian prog was so spread in Japan, i'm really happy about that ^^ if you want, take a look at my videos where i play prog songs with my old band Agasias (i play guitar and flute) and give me an opinion about that ;)

  • Wish I could understand what they are talking about. Sounds that "canzone" surely doesn't mean "O Sole Mio" kind of Neapolitan music...

  • and in contrast with the reflection "forse le lucciole non si amano più" ("maybe glow-worms love no more each other"), we suggest an alternative, which is the Dream (maybe an utopian alternative), that is to take refuge in dreams and illusion as only possibility to go on, maybe also to outlive nasty situations of life. So, Dream contrasting reality"

I hope this can make you understand better ^^

  • besides, the song in this video, which is "sogno di Estunno" "Dream of Estunno" (Estunno is an union between "estate","summer" and "autunno" "autumn") is about a man who is living the end of his life but he feels free, and he wants to do all the thinks he can't did for all the life.

  • the final line is "è strano, sai, avere tanta voglia di correre e muover piano i passi, per non sciupare l'attimo di libertà" which means "you know, it's strange to feel so much like running and move slowly the steps, to not spoil the moment of freedom"

if you have more question about this wonderful band, ask me! ^^

    Locanda for ever!!

  • Ho i brividi... semplicemente stupenda!

  • ridateci la RAI di una volta !!!!

  • @MickCorgi Try also LE ORME!

  • So we thought about ourselves and what is around us, and we saw these problems in a way helpful also as discourse, to comunicate our feelings about this man being, who is always afflicted and lives this difficult life

  • I translate the interview of the component of the band at 00:56 :

"this cd is a breathing space, a moment of reflection, because we all felt the need to talk about our problems, althought we are quite young, but we feel soon the need to debate about involvements that we daily feel weigh on us.
