Chalam may be one of the underrated actors in Telugu film industry !! ....
He can portray both comedy as well as serious characters with the same ease ....
One of my favorite scene of Chalam is the final scene of Aakali Raajyam .... :)
Also, it is interesting to note that Chalam acted in many of K Balachandar's movies ....

Once again thanks to my mother for introducing me to countless telugu melodies. How badly we miss these kind of lyrics and visuals now a days. Timeless lyrics combined with lovely picturisation. Very tender and touching.

@chaitanyapatwari Of the three you note, I think Rajan-Nagendra are very unique. Their music stands out. Difficult to separate Satyam and Ramesh Naidu though, but surely very good quality music from them as well.

why none talks about Satuam, the music director here? In fact, most of the hit songs of Chalam were composed by him. Satyam is one of those musicians who has introduced some western elements to the conventional telugu music and was successful. There were musicians like Satyam, Ramesh Naidu and Rajan Nagendra who stayed for a smaller stint in the telugu industry but gave some real good and quality music!
