This is the LTZ model which comes with the 3.9 240hp V-6. I installed the exhaust with one other person. It's pretty easy to do. The hardest part I guess is just making sure it all lines up to avoid any exhaust leaks. It sounded pretty good but after I added an Intake from Motorsports Performance Design then I got a much deeper sound.

  • @242HP Yeah, should've done that but I guess I didn't think about that at the time. As fas as the CAI the only issue I had was the rubber tubing it came with. So I just used the stock one and it worked fine. After I oticed that I emailede the company and informed them about it they said they were unaware of that issue but would fix it. As soon as I get back from this deployment i'm on I plan on posting some more videos of the current set -up. And i'll be sure to record the exhaust from outside.

  • I wish you would have shot the video outside, and not in your garage. All exhausts sound louder when they're in an enclosed area. You can't get an idea of how it really sounds unless the car is outside in the open. BTW, I bought the same CAI from Cold Air Inductions and didn't like the way it fit (very hard to get the parts together and lined up) on my 3.9 Monte so I sold it to someone else.
