This is a fantastic movie.

Far better than the slush put out by Hollywood in the last 10 years.

Great story (true), great characters, and an emotionally draining ending.

Certainly one of the best films this year, and an ALL-TIME great war movie.

To you who comments on the plot and story... in you are unaware of it, the story of these two guys is true, they were famous at the time (and today as well) for being the best and hardest to catch resistance fighters... their deaths as depicted in the moive, are also historically correct... for instance, on my way to work, i pass by the house where the citron was gunned down after killing a few dusin germans... this is not fiction. Have a nice day.

Exactly, most the West and especially Anglophone world today is heavily indoctrinated by their own elite, whom practice Marxism like its a religion in of itself, hence they teach in schools that the Spanish civil war "was the honorable and good Republicans, against the evil Facists", which in reality they mean the Nationalists against the Pseudo-Republican Socialists aka COMMUNISTS, the same Communists whom sent half of Spains gold to Moscow/Soviets
