In February of 2011 some of the new generation of Exile Skimboards riders ventured down to mainland Mexico to search out some new waves and ride them the way they beg to be ridden.

Thousands of dollars, thousands of miles and countless hours later, we scored.

Sam Stinnett and Blair Conklin battled continuously for the wave of the trip. Who won? You be the judge!

  • I know that your probly gona recommend your board but i have a question. Ive been riding the zap carbon comp boards and i feel like im ready to move to a better board. and can you honestly answer if i should go with the Victoria Ultra or the Exile Recruit. their both the same price pretty much and ik exile has a better rep but i was just wondering.

  • @Steltzzz I know for a fact that the Recruit is way better than the old Ultra. After we came out with the recruit however they changed the ultra and to be perfectly honest I havent even tried one. So I cant really even pretend to compare the two. What I can say is that we have customers who like the recruit even better than our epoxy boards. Everyone seems to love them and if you decide to get one we hope you will too!

  • where exactly is this

  • @FrontFootCatch Its a few different places. North of Melaque about an hour and Cabo Corrientes mostly.

  • @ExileSkimboards I am going to learn abroad in a spanish speaking country but I wan't some good waves wherever I go. Which country would you reccommend. It has to be safe so mexico is kind of iffy, but I didnt know if there were good spots to skim in spain or costa rica...

  • @MVskim mexico is probably the best for waves. I would probably say Chile is second best off the top my head. There are waves in Costa Rica and Spain... but from a skimming perpective neither would be my first choice.
