  • 0:18 you gotta love that forehand motion

  • to me personally the best roger was in 2005 to 2006 the difference nw is that he is not as fit as he was from 2004 to 2006

  • @kaylun80 Dude don't dis Rog. You do know that players are hitting with *way* more spin now than they used to right? If he tried to flatball it like he does here against Hewitt, he would hit alot of shots out, and nothing would ever go out of anyone's strike zone. The fact of the matter is that Roger has evolved as a player, and as a result, so too has the rest of the field. And the fact that ONE player can make two generations of evolution, that is a fucking miracle.

  • @kaylun80 Roger's BH is better now than it was in '04. Even his FH is just as good in some circumstances (like on fast HCs). His serve is much better than it used to be too.

  • @TennisAnnalyst every shot he makes has so much pace and depth back then even the backhand slice looks faster than his topspin backhand nowadays. I wish he would find his ferociousness again and utterly destroy his opponents. He varies his strokes too much, what happened to the days where he would outhit anyone from the baseline?

  • Double Bagel

  • I remember this match. At the end, at the net, Hewitt said to Federer: "You're too good mate". I couldn't have said it better myself.

  • nver, you have it right on the money in both your backhand and forehand exhibition videos. US open 2004's fh + Master's Cup 2006 bh = God
