i don't think i have ever seen the prisoner, i just have this image of the guy running along the beach being stalked by a balloon somewhere in my head...and you are very lucky to have got a ticket. i'm glad you seem a worthy fan!

Ah thanks for that info! I remember the prisoner well! I love Muse too I was lucky enought to be at this gig and nearly got the balloon!

this is just speculation, but i reckon they took the idea from an old tv series called 'the prisoner' where these people were keep on an island guarded by big ass balloons...
muse thought 'people are simple and would love balloons to mess with while we play' :)

One of the best nights of my life!!! Definitely the gig of 2008. I can see where our group were popping the balloons, we got so excited when all the paper rained down on us!!
