For your information, there are plenty of sophisticated cities in Africa. Just look at Port Mombasa or Nairobi. You're a biggot for calling Africa a "hell hole continent". Look at North Africa as well. It's full of developed cities. Look at Morocco. But you'd probably hate North Africa because you're biggotted against Muslims too. And as for the Masai, I respect and admire them for clinging on to their traditions in an age of change. This is beautiful culture.

Nice and truly words. Thanks for that! I love the Earth, including Africa, and think this is very underrated continent but - e.g., what about music? Darbuka and oriental dance? I  love that too and I'm very glad that I know about it and listen to it every day. Africa is the heart of the Earth:)

maasai are the reason,kenya was not much affected by the east african slave trade.they raided arab slave caravans,forced arab and swahili slave traders to pay tribute before crossing maasai land,so many times slave caravans preferred to go round maasai territory,and raid slaves as far as the congo,they dared not raid the maasais fearing the consequences.

And retrenchment is taking place because of the recession. The point is that we HAVE healthcare and education, if you dont like it you dont have to use it but it is there avaliable to us. Do you really think we would be better without them? And yes tradition, culture, family... these may well be priveledges money cant buy, but that doesnt mean we have the right to say that people should stick to their traditions, and not move outside their culture. If they want to do so that is up to them.

You think education keeps people dumb? I suppose it depends on the quality of the education, but you cant think people would be smarter with no education, that would just be silly. And the reason heart failure is the biggest cause of death is because due to health care we survive long enough to reach an age at which heart failure will effect us. That and the obesity problem, but you cant blame the western world for that, you eat to much you get fat, its your own fault.
