I first saw this on Sci-Fi, which I thought was rather strange. It was a lot better though in little parts on TV than it was in it's entirety, but I honestly still really loved it all around.

Interesting review. For what it's worth, the series is tied to a manga that was subsequently released, and a lot of the stuff that's left unanswered in the TV show is explained in the manga. There's also the...five, i think, audio dramas that act as supplements to the story. Lastly, Betterman is set in the same world as The King of Braves GaoGaiGar (kind of why Sunrise went out of their way to tie both stories together for Grand Glorious Gathering).

It would be understandable Hinoki Sai's hair is what makes her cool for an original design. Even I don't recommended such a hairstyle going into a waste.

LOL wow very good review i remember watching this on Tech Tv before it became that ass raped version of i dnt know wtf it is now....but there was alos Dual, and Serial experiments Lain but this was like you said a pretty decent show for its time but every now and then you were like WTF.....its like a train wreck you know what is comeing but your still going to watch
