Dr. Alan Koslow was awarded the Beth-el and Rob Borsellino Humanitarian Community service Award for 2010. It was presented by Rekha Borsellino. He received it for his work to help those who can't help themselves. He has been on two medical missions to Haiti among others. he has worked to improve the health of children in Iowa both by promoting Hawk-I and the Healthy Kids Act. He has saved four men in three episodes putting his own life at risk each time. He is one of ten who conceived of and organized the first March of Dimes walk to raise money for a charity in NYC in 1970-1
