@Floralin i have beeen through cancer i can see her reasons for not telling, she could be afraid to tell them, she might not want them to worry and also its a very hard thing to tell someone especially someone that you love, i know becuz i had a hard time telign the people i care about when i had it... in fact for a long time i kept it from some people. its not a easy thing to talk about or tell someone that your going through

I thought about hiding my cancer but that would have been too selfish. I thought I could save my kids the pain for awhile but thought if one of them hid something like that from me, I'd be very hurt. As it was, they did wonderfully! I had their loving support. We're all closer as a result. Life is more colorful. :) Things I use to get so upset about don't bother me as much. If it can be cured with money, it's not a tradegy. And trite as it sounds, I try not to worry about the, "what ifs."
