In 1977 was the last time they saw each other. Helen went for further studies in USA and Chris went to Isu, a neighbouring town near Orlu in Imo State Nigeria, for his secondary education. What began like a short holiday trip for both, a few years later, turned out to be a separation that will last for generations.
Ten years later, the political and economic situation in their home country -- Nigeria has worsened forcing Chris too in the 90´s to flee the country to study in Europe. The two were thus forced to remain in the Diaspora separated by the Atlantic. Meanwhile Chris Ezeh now - The CEO of The EuroAfricaCentral Network Germany lives as naturalized German citizen in Hamburg Germany and welcomes for the first time, his dear cousin Helen Okonkwo after 30 years of having not seen each other.
