Even if they discontinued Animaniacs, they should've at least made a spin-off of "The Goodfeathers". It's the only part of the Animaniacs lineup (apart from Pinky and the Brain) that can/could've stand alone and have their own show.

No movie should ever have a sequel, and no movie should ever become a series. It just doesn't work. A funny show that lampoons stereotypes about various immigrant groups or about various regions of the country may get some laughs for a while, but eventually someone will get annoyed and say "filarsela" and change channels.

When a good move becomes a series is when Hoss becomes a magnet for every kind of weirdo character that the imagination can dream up. Lucy starts bringing in everybody who can't get a real part in a real movie, and there would always be that canned applause to announce their entrance. Skoobydoo meets who, and the Emperor Kuzco flirts with the teacher unions. They run out of good ideas and end up with nothing but a lot of hackneyed drivel.
