  • I bought the unedited library of congress recordings years ago. He did some very pornographic versions of tunes like "make me a pallet" . This is the kind of stuff that made him famous in the red light districts.

  • @pianiplunker I hate that polite "museum-mentality" approach to jazz and blues history. This song is a good indicator to were these musicans came from. Rap and hip hop come from the same musical legacy as Jazz and Blues.

  • 3:15 You wouldn't fuck me because you had the itch! WOW!

  • Just play this for your parents when they say hip hop and too explicit. It get no more explicit than this ladies and gentlemen hahahah. And I'm sure this was wayyyy before your parents were born. So if they give you the line, "back in my day music was not about profanity" Smack this in their face. Though I gotta say Jelly did it with style and class, in harmony ahahaha and rhythm

  • Jelly roll mortorn ivented Jazz. and If this song is any indication Rap too.

  • @dirtynuke Morton was born in 1885.

  • Man...this guys nuts for a guy born in the 1800s

  • Morton Himself once said that jazz is basicly all about sex, with some

    exceptions
