  • Thanks for uploading! Although I'm surprised you did as it's not really much of a "Katsu" film as he only has a supporting role in it.

One suggestion...you might want to add "teito monogatari" to the tags as that's the series this film is based off of. I'm pretty positive lots of people will search using that title.

  • @aznricekracker Thanks man, added the tag :)

  • Thanks for uploading this -- never seen it before but it's interesting so far.

  • I must say it's kind of sad that a lot of American fans of the film ONMYOJI (2001) don't know that this film and the novel it represents are all about onmyoji too. Both the film and book helped ignite interest in onmyoji in pop culture years before the movie ONMYOJI came out.

  • Thank you for posting all these Videos.

It's a shame that both DOOMED MEGALOPOLIS and this film only cover 1/3rd of the original story and the rest of the story can only be found in the novel itself. It's really confusing for folks who can't read Japanese. Have you seen our "appeal" to translate the novel? Just search for the Facebook page TRANSLATE TEITO MONOGATARI INTO ENGLISH to check it out.

  • Love this film/series, wish i could read japanese, remember seeing kato in doomed megalopolis for the first time when i was about 9, pretty much shit myself.

  • @cheshireKAT

There ARE subtitles. Just turn on the CAPTIONS tab at the lower right hand corner of the screen.

  • why would you upload this without subtitles pointless..!

  • Great upload.

You're welcome! I try to get this series as much exposure as possible. The movie and the series it's based on were very popular in Japan, but have hardly any reception here in the West.
