  • @HiOctane62 I just type what it says on the label (and check it 2 or 3 times).

  • @MrFootfree02 I enlisted for 4 years in the US Army because I flunked-out of university at age 18, and my job ended after summer 1965. I was overseas for three years--volunteered for Vietnam 67-68. The “best years” (as you claim) of my life were when I got out and prospered in many ways from what I experienced. I could have been killed countless times, and it gave me respect for my blessings. I honor the heroes on “The Wall”, the many who were wounded, and the wives who raised kids alone.

  • LOL. lived it. we ALL wanted to come home. wanted to leave Jane FKN Fonda there and drop just one fkn BIG one. only wish Sean Penn could meet the same fate. freekin' cowards/collaborators. deserve to be stripped of their citizenship. they've already shucked their dignity. LOSERS

  • @copyvio I agree with the "waste"comment. Wholeheartedly but the soldiers who deploy are not responsible for the "waste" The lunatics who sent them are.All who deploy make a huge sacrifice, no returning veteran returns unscathed, hence the walking wounded, maimed and insane. The memories of war are lot a cancer eating at ones soul. The sense of comradeship provides a blanket of unity that no outsider can penetrate. There is no gain worth a soldiers life

  • Only when something is gained for a loss is it a "sacrifice." Otherwise it's just a "waste."

  • @HiOctane62 actually to be technical in the 60's when he served in the Green Berets it was abbrieviated as SSGT. Only in the 80's was it changed to SSG.

  • SSGT Barry Sadler, great man and fantastic combat medic. He put his money where his mouth was and spent his life helping children all around the world from vietnam to guatamala where he was assasinated in the 1980's. I remember hearing this on armed forces radio.

  • Check out agent orange lagacy children of vietnam vets !!

  • @MrFootfree02 and you sir are obviously a wanker. Very easy for csuckers like you to try and demean the sacrifice of all deployed to Vietnam. Try standing before the wall and read the names of so many young Americans who died there.Look around the Rolls of Honour of Amreicas allies in that war. All young men who probably had more integrity in their little finger than a wanker like you.The Vietnam Vets deserve our respect. The idiots that were in control probably not

  • i WAS ON THE LAST FREEDOM BIRD OUUTA phan rang when venaf took over base...I love this song ssgt Kasson usaf hon discharged.

  • @HiOctane62 to end this... its different by service. SSG is only Army abbreviation. Marines and Air Force use SSgt.

  • when you get green shit fired at you...you will love this song !

  • RIP Brother Charlie. And thank you.
