On 11 November afternoon U2 play a 45-minute concert at the Justin Herman Plaza in the Embarcadero Center. The site is decided at short notice and only two hours before the start of the concerts are planning and implementation. Admission is free and in a short time to gather 20,000 people. As the stage is the loading of a truck used. After the stock market crash the day before the presentation titled Bono of U2 with 'Save The yuppies'. The recording of 'All Along The Watchtower' is later on the album and video 'Rattle And Hum' is used. I just found this on you tube and saw your comment.I was there too and also on stage right.I remember the bassists rig being right next to us and it was thundering and bad ass.I was a senior in HS and when we got to school my buddies told us about the free concert in SF so a bunch of us skipped and went.when we got there ther was literally only a hand full of scaters and other people there.I dont know how we ended up on the right side,we must have snoozed but we were probably right by you.
