Detroit on brink of bankruptcy

Detroit was once one of America's biggest and most productive cities.

Millions of people had jobs in the automobile industry, and the city also attracted other big business.

But for years the industry has been suffering and this week it hit a new low.

Cath Turner reports from Detroit, Michigan.

@darroooooo the blacks finally got what they wanted,they forced all the white people out of the city and into the suburbs and took total control over the city of detroit and as everybody predicted the blacks have finally managed to bring detroit to the brink of bankruptcy and ruin and now you expect the whites to come back and work with the blacks in order to save the city...? to hell with detroit its a war zone unfit for white population its all yours now good luck.......

Only difference between here and there is that we diversified the economy, those dumb blacks in motown tried to revitalize the manufacturing sector while it continued to decline w/o a backup plan. If those morons do not find a way to bring different types of business they're going to go into the gutter.

Detroit in 1945, was good because people still payed extra for american cars and because there were not a lot of blacks in the city, hard but true.

Blacks and the fact people buy cars just to get to A to B, rather than, status and to flaunt it, is what caused the failure of motor city.
