that man talking at the end was one of the saddest things that I've ever witnessed in my life. I heard the clip on the radio shortly after it happened... it's no less powerful now. he deserves enormous gratitutde for being willing to speak afterwards

I lived through this storm on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.I also was here for Frederic(1979) and Elana(1985) and a few others.. The only difference in the storms was the storm surge.I can't stand people that weren't affected posting stupid stuff like Nik.I'm proud to be a Mississipian.We acted calmly.The people responsible for E.M. are the Governors,Mayors and the people.There was a mandantory evacuation.N.O. was warned several times of what would happen if a Cat 3 hit.Shoulda listened.I <3 Bush

is it just me or it kind of rude and messed up to point a camera and hold a mic up to someone that just lost everything they had and ask them how do you feel ? how would you feel ? maybe we needed footage. but they needed help why not put the camera down and help FOR REAL.
