Finally decided to plant my grape vine cuttings, and was really surprised to find all those roots! Cherry tree clipping update, identifying radishes, and a Canadian goose eating bugs off the front of a car!

  • grape s r one of my failures so far.very few fruit n most get eaten by birds.

  • @vidaripollen I'm sure the birds think it's a spectacular success : ) If you want grapes for yourself though, either plant more grapes, or eat more birds! : ) Maybe cats

  • Looks like you got a baby cherry tree. I would like to know: Do you eat cherries from the existing cherry tree? How many years do you expect it to take to start harvesting from the young one you started?

  • @field16 Last year the birds and squirrels got most of the cherries, the the few we ate tasted exactly as they should : ) The new one might take a few years, and a few more because it was planted directly under the squirrel's nest!

  • You cover a lot of ground in one minute forty five seconds! Looking very nice. Thank you for the advise on the mould. It worked! I mean it worked to get rid of the mould. The seedlings were weak to begin with. They suffered being outside but once they were back in, they seemed to bounce back and no more mould. I planted some of the seedlings outside already. They seem to be doing better there. Cool about the grape plants! Thanks again.

  • @JaxRL Wow, I'm happy it worked, (maybe a bit surprised too, lol) Every surface but the plants was covered completely!

  • @Helioforge Cats are good. We have loads of fruit and it hardly gets touched. Even if you don't want to keep a cat yourself if you put out a bit of dried cat food and some water you can can get the same effect for nearly free.

  • @Helioforge haha! you r real natural forest gardener now.you right.completely.onle 4 grape vines, thats problem.the sapota which yields about a ton this year, with about 25 trees, theres no problem.birds n bats eat about couple hunderd fruit but theres plenty left to sell or give away.

  • My neighbour grows grapes.. We actually have a few grapevines on the side of the house. Can't wait to eat them. Unfortunatly i can't take credit for growing them :). It was already there.
