My First 5 years Of Bboying 2003-2008

This is my story...
In Jan, 2009, I look back on the last 5 years of my Bboying and wonder what it's worth. Remembering all the battles, sessions, places I've been, ups, downs and what it took to get where I am, has me asking myself alot of questions.

This video showcases my entire breaking career in 12 min. It doesn't show ALL my moves and when I learned them but it does show different points in my evolution. I apologize for the length of the video but it is very hard to fit 5 years of footage into one video.I worked very hard on this video and even though I think only Bboys will understand, please watch and leave comments.

-Thank you,
Bboy Solid

  • @fonoboy I watched the bboys at the local gym, then went home to my room and secretly practiced to be like them. I bought some DVDs like Freestyle Session and Out For Fame. I was influanced by the bboys in my area like Kelrock and LT from LOZ.

  • you are an inspiration, my friend

  • yeah, when i first started, there was no youtube bboy vids and the koreans werent as famous as they are now...So when i first started nobody could do my moves. now i feel like all the new kids can do my moves. After you break for awhile you'll notice all the kids can do your moves too. Everybody learns faster and faster....

  • That's really great how you learned on your own great how you can manage power moves even with your height I am 5' 3" so I don't have too much to worry about haha it is really wonderful how you show others that it is possible to learn on your own...keep it up!!! :)

  • 9:21-9:24 left side of the screen guy in mohawk, just realized thats the dude from Supreme Soul LOL

  • Oh and Kauai rep braddahs 808 4 life

  • @BboyBrito u need to rethink calling urself a bboy then bc foundation and footwork out beats most power anyday. Like they say style is power and all that originates from foundation and footwork so u need to rethink calling urself a bboy and start learning more about the culture first .

  • nice video

  • Keep dancing bro-You have heart to do it. Respect

  • Very nice video. I think you could have learned more power moves at the beginning. This would help now. You wasted a little ur time. I am bboying now for 6 months and I am doing windmils and 90's already. Only toprock and footwork is losing importance nowadays.

  • dam any one know were u can go to find people that teach bboying or do most breakers teach themselfs?

  • 3 years before ur first battle? thats a little long lol

  • tonight i posted my first video, theres a few of me that others posted but this one is just me, watching your video is a ton of inspiration, especially since I've only been bboying since about october or november of 2007, watching you progress in those 5 years is insanely inspirational, watching some of the stuff you do is stuff i've been working on a little bit. definitely thanks for posting this! even though its been two years since its upload it still holds just as true in my opinion. RESPECT
