    Same chord progression? I hear so similarities in the melody.

    It's likely recommended because a flurry of like-minded people watched this vid and then searched Vile after... or vice versa.

    They recommended Grimes (who I can't stand) to me when I watched this vid. Maybe there's an textural element that Peaking Lights, Vile and Grimes share, but it's certainly not a progression element.

    I think it's funny that one of the recommended videos attached to this is Kurt Vile's Baby's Arms. Given they have the same chord progression, it kind of makes sense. Indie kids unite!
