  • That is completely off topic and an obvious red herring. Though it does reveal the real source of your disdain for these brave young women.

  • You think American people are moral people and upright? You should think twice. Americans have always presented themselves as the leaders in this world; however, they are not worthy to lead anyone with their unshameful values and their weird nationalism.

  • It is the duty of all moral and upright people to flout unjust laws.

  • they should have been kept there in North Korea so that everyone can see where "brave" journalists end up. Journalists in general have the gutts in their actions (aka going against the law) but when they are faced with their punishment they become as fragile as a baby...

  • And missing the point that it is admirable and above standard conduct for journalists to disregard such silly laws. They are not stupid, they are commendable.

  • and that's why they are dumb because If they (2 reporters) thought that they could enter a communist/no-free-speech country and they go out without being caught from it they were wrong. BTW, I don't praise communist laws but there are rules you have to follow when you enter these grounds.

  • I'm not arguing on whether they did their job as reporters or not. I'm saying that they entered a zone where journalists are not allowed to enter = that's why they were caught in prison in North Korea! Capiche?

  • Again, doing this is standard work for journalists. That is their job.

  • Lets hope Clinton and Gore become the next Carter - who always gets overlooked, even though he has done a lot diplomatically.

  • because they (the 2 asians) know that journalist cannot enter communist grounds (I assume). Communist people consider journalist as spies because Free speech (aka Journalism) is not allowed in these grounds.
