while playing in the creature phase i came across a nest of cocoons. when i'd click on them i'd see info for a specific creature but i could not interact with them. after moving over to another nest of creatures i could see the creatures hatching from their cocoons.... anyone else seen this?

  • This is what happens when creatures are leveling up from Level 1 to Level 2 , let's say, and the computer is figuring out what to "increase" or upgrade on the creatures that were nesting there previously.

  • They're cocoons. I watched a species turn into them, and I hung around the nest to see what was up. Much later, they hatched into a completely different species, who all decided to try and eat me.

  • i thought those were eggs untill i saw a full growen creature come out of it and i was like wtf

  • i thought it was a virus that spread to other nests

but i researched it a bit and figured out its just them evolving

  • To repeat what JadeElf said, apparently these cocoons represent the creatures that USED to be there evolving. I assume if you return in a short while, they will be evolved.

  • those are from worms ive seensome near a nest

  • iv seen those yesterday lol i was wondering what they were XD

  • I find this many times

1 time i tryed to kill it and failed

but egg in nest stangely so

    eggs for dinner

  • I seen those too.

  • I've seen them before. They represent the creatures evolving to a higher form.

  • Oh, so that's what those are? Because I come across them all the time and I started to think the cocoons were some part of creature creator you couldn't access.

  • i see those all the time, they always turn out to be more aggressive. its normal
