RIP, Humphrey Lyttelton (1921 - 2008)
Clips from the South Bank Show edition on Humphrey Lyttelton, chairman of much loved radio comedy 'I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue' (ISIHAC). Sadly Samantha had already nipped out with her gentlemen friend when these moments were captured.

I actually find Jack Dee a surprisingly good replacement. Obviously nowhere near the level Humph was on but still a good fit for the role.

Samantha has a new Italian gentleman friends who's going to take her to the seaside to buy an ice-cream. There's nothing she likes better than to spend the afternoon licking the nuts off a big Neopolitan.

The good thing about Jack Dee is that he already has that disinterest characteristic and of course an all round happy exterior ;).
Anyone else doing that would look like they were trying to copy Humph.
Jack Dee actually once said he never wanted to go on ISIHAC, because he didnt want his voice to ruin it, thats how much he loved the show

This comment has received too many negative votes show
Yep. Still being a shitheaded prick to insult Lyonel Blair every show.

Ive got dozens and dozens of recording of Clue on the hard drive from down the decades, the funny thing is how more loud and raucous the audience get as the years go on :)

I was there at this performance, and I'm so glad I got to see it live before we lost Humph. I was at the Sage Gateshead last year when Jack was chairing, and although he's good, it seemed a bit flat without Humph.

Yes I agree, he was far too upbeat, and didn;t seem to hit the spot. Also I've noticed he hasn't been on since Jack became the unanounced permanent host-I hope there is no hard feeling, as SF was a great guest.

I've listened for twenty years & saw ISIHAC live for the first time last night - still chuckling now over Samantha getting her greatest hits out & Tim Brooke-Taylor apprently tossing Christopher Biggins over a towel!!
