Pretty sure it has a SSD. 1000 is standard for ultrabooks

HP certainly has some of the worst bloatware. Unfortunately I had to leave their DVD program on my pavilion dv8t in order to utilize its bluray player.

Actually Microsoft came up with the idea for touchpad/tablet computers in the 90s. It's all about marketing. Which is the only reason any of us have even hear about Windows or Mac as there are many much better OSs
