Don't call it 'window tinting' -- these are brand new windows!
Vic Cushing from Mather Aviation had heard about G&D Aero Products Inc., but had never had any clients install their products, until Chuck Hansen's Bonanza G36.
With nearly 4,000 aircraft upgrades, and growing, G&D Aero's thermal window inserts are delivered by the company and custom fit & cut next to the aircraft, for a made to order fit.
Gayle Calhoon flew up to KMHR, in his own Bonanza A36, with his son in-law, John Oden, to replace eight (8) windows on Chuck Hansen's 2009 Hawker Beechcraft Bonanza G36, tail number N460YR, and finished the job in a half day.
With the back cabin benefiting from an 87% reduction in UV/light, and front cockpit limited by law to 70%, Gayle demonstrated to Chuck the reflective power of his thermal window inserts by have Chuck stand in the sun for a few minutes, then placing a window directly overhead. The dramatic change in temperature, almost felt like a bucket of cold ice was dumped on my head!
Noticing a defect on the right cockpit door, that was already pre-approved for a factory warranty replacement, Gayle took the liberty of re-molding the door, replacing the window, and inserting a 1/4" gasket around the entire window, resulting in a 100% improvement.
I enthusiastically recommend G&D Aero, their products, and their service.
