  • I use Bridge mainly for the renaming and sorting capabilities. On import I have the files go into folders by date and have the files renamed to a date plus a sequence number. After that I will either edit and adjust in Photoshop or for client shoots Lightroom.

I also convert from the native camera raw format to DNG. This saves about 20% on the file size and allows adjustments from both Bridge and Lightroom to be stored in the file instead of a sidecar .xmp file.
