What a great save. OFD did an amazing job and dispatch was awesome. I hope your city pulls their head out of their butts and stops that whole lay off thing. They all think the can shave Fire Dept. budgets but then something bad happens and its the F.D.s fault.What a crock... whats more important? FIRE PROTECTION or A MUSIC HALL? Wow thats a hard choice. Wow, your dispatcher talks really slow when announcing the units, by the time they were done, ours would have been starting on the address, even with a full box.

BY the time you are hearing the verbal dispatch, we have already received house tones and the information is on the truck computers.
The dispatcher intentionally dispatches at a moderate pace to ensure that all of the information is delivered clearly. It only took 20 seconds to dispatch the initial alarm units, situation, and provide the address in a clear/audible manner.
