Fr. Josef Jungmann describes the New Mass — in 1948.
The creation of the new rite gradually unfolded over the course of twenty years through a series of incremental liturgical changes overseen by Fr. Annibale Bugnini, who would write Vatican II's Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy, implement it as the head of Consilium, and finally preside over the formulation of the 1969 Novus Ordo Missae of Paul VI.

It's truly amazing to see the progressive pattern in action once again. They push for small changes as they work to get their people in important positions. Once everyone's in place, they hit the gas, so to speak, and change everything much faster. They also ensure that reversing their efforts is as much of a hassle as possible. It's frightening.

@Frankenapostel Danke! Sorry, I may have mangled the pronunciation, since I have yet to get a decent mike. But the expression "Traum in Herzen" was the one used in the source (meeting notes taken by Mgr Johannes Wagner).
