Quenching the Reactive Earth - Accidental Burning of Fossil-Fuels and Geoengineering

The speaker is Dr Guillermo Rein, School of Engineering, University of Edinburgh.
The Seminar was given in July 2011 at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University of California, Berkeley.

In this talk, Dr Rein summarizes his academic career to date and then proceeds to talk about smouldering mega fires of natural coal and peat deposits. He has termed these fires "accidental burning of fossil-fuels".
