This video seems to get comments on the fact that he dances like a spaz. He does. The reason he dances like that though is because that was one way people danced in the 80s. I've been given multiple demonstrations displaying this.

That's one of many reasons I've always loved Oingo Boingo. Danny is an amazing lyricist. He has to be one of the most under appreciated writers out there. People are quick to dismiss his songs as "quirky" without actually listening to their content. "Private Life" and "On The Outside" pretty much epitomized my high school years.

I don't mind the dancing, I think he's just doing it just to be wacky.

I'm so lucky I got to see them when they did their farewell tour, it's still one of the best concerts I've ever attended. They're all so animated and Danny really gets into it. They were such a fun band, and while I'm happy they're one of the few bands I love that split on good terms... it's sad that they'll never tour again due to a physical limitation. I can't blame Danny for not wanting to worsen his damaged hearing. An album would be amazing... but I think he's just done at this point =/

Not to metion he's got a great voice! I've read he said he would never do a reunion tour, because it's hard on his hearing, but a new Oingo Boingo studio album would be awesome. (It would be even cooler if they reverted to the "Mystic Knights" and got everyone together!)

I think most of his unerappreciation is due to his association to half-rate one-trick pony like Tim Burton. The man is bizarre. Yeah, we got that a while ago. I have nothing but love and appreciation for Danny. Big fan of OIngo Boingo even though it's not even my kind of music. They were still great fucking music!
