Those cabbages are huge! Do you sell them at local grocery stores or farmer's market on the roadside?

@beutifullady Glad to see that covering the ground with plastic worked so well i did mine that way this year because it is cooler here at night and the weeds were so bad last year.Do you have trouble with the plastis getting so hot that it effects the plants? thanks so much and nice garden.

@kellyhose4 I used landscape fabric which allows water to go through it unlike plastic I tried plastic and it was very hard to get water to the plants unless you had put a soaker hose under it first.

@kokonutbaby1 i ussually put one bag of 50 pound pulverized lime and one 50 pound bag of 10-10-10 at the begining of the year before planting tilll it in

how much lime do u add and do u put it directly on the soil you are about to plant in or just on the sides? Whatever ur doing its working..nice garden!

@kokonutbaby1 Last time i added fertilizer was about 3 years ago now. I need to add some this year and lime. I ussually put compost in every year but only in the isles.

you added fertilizer and lime to your garden soil? I thought earlier u said u only used compsost..what kind of fertilizer did u use?

they will be used for making compost the snails did a good job on them

You have to use up all of the leaves...let nothing go to waste.
