Leary did steal from hicks! You can look the fuckin dates up! Look at some of Hicks shows that were done way before leary even started and you will see that he stole alot of his stuff! I like Leary but he deffinately stole alot of his shit from Hicks!

No, it really isn't that big of a deal. Leary's persona is his own. He didn't steal it from Bill Hicks, because that's just how he is. There were some lines that were rather similar, but overall, a good 85 to 90% of Leary's material is his own. This whole persona applies to millions of people, not just these 2 comedians. And did anybody ever think that Bill Hicks is also heavily influenced by somebody else before him? With all that said. nobody gives a flying fuck. Go Leary... Hicks is boring.
